How does everyone feel about the huge conflict of interest between market maker and hedge fund? Does anyone know what a market maker is or what they specifically do in our markets? Anyone ever realize that a market maker can also be a hedge fund? Or am I the only idiot messing with options... completely u aware the person selling me the option contracts has total@control over stock price and legally allowed to manipulate it... bc they take on “risk”.

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

HTZ - are ppl really just rolling the dice (to the tune of multi billions of shares traded) or do some actually not realize its going to be worth $0 or <$.50 at best after years of bankruptcy court? I just can’t imagine how there’s THAT many people buying hundreds of millions of shares a day
