Recently I got invited to an interview with a decent growing company. I work in Executive Search and I am thinking of switching to in-house recruiting. During the conversation the recruiter made some weird assumptions about my current job. The interview took longer than expected and I feel like I have not delivered well. Was I wrong to expect in-house recruiter to understand the differences and similarities between in-house-recruiting, professional search and retained executive search?

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on. Quick question - are online coding schools worth it? I’m thinking of a career change and I’ve thought about a coding Boot Camp but saw an online full stack developer course by mammoth interactive. Would I be wasting my time and money with something like this if I wanted to go into an industry as a coder? Or should I just go back to school?

Hi Sharks,

I have recently joined new organisation where my offer is 18fixed + 1.8variable.

I was having CTC of 8lpa in my previous organisation.

How could be the tax calculation for this year? How the tax is computed with 2 different CTC's? In which tax slab I would come under as per old regime?

I have joined in Oct with new organisation. Till Sept I was with old organization.
