“Solution Architect” in Accenture DOES NOT translate into what is expected outside of Accenture. At Accenture a Solutions Architect scopes and estimate projects and helps define very high level products/features in the early stages of the sales cycle (sound right?).
Outside of Accenture SA is an entirely different role (more delivery focused). You are expected to work with business stakeholders, help shape requirements (so deliver isn’t a disaster), come up with the overall tech solution (you may have to get some assistance/alignment with tech leadership), explain the overall solution architecture to the tech team, and work with the tech and business teams to ensure what is expected is what gets delivered. It requires you to have understanding of tech and business.
I am definitely not going to another consulting company.

First thing - the job you can get depends on what you know how to do. So, if you know how to manage projects, that’s the experience set that you are selling. Don’t imagine that a project manager, can become a chief operating officer.
Second thing - it’s all about your network. At your level, you don’t get jobs off LinkedIn, or from other job boards. Headhunters might find you, but the best way to find a job if when somebody you know recommending you for one. So talk to everyone you know about what you wanna do.

There is always joining the mother ship for whatever you are SA for, be it Salesforce, Sailpoint, SAP, or whatever.
The SA role at Accenture is more program manager. I would look at Product Manager (read Marty Cagan to see definition) or if you want to be technical then get professional SA certification from cloud vendor.
I think Accenture SA is a valuable part of transforming a company, but see that role less important in target state. It’s going to Product and Engineering. As companies scale up it’s also director of product / director of engineering, etc.
You and accenture1 are both spot on definitely on what Accenture SA does. This is more program management and early planning phase.
I prefer not to be 100% technical.
looking into Marty cgan definitions. Trying to understand how my SA role/skills maps to a product manager role , and reflect on my cv.
Have you seen this before? Would you be open to chatting over DM?
I coach folks to do some research first. Don't rely on job titles only when looking. Do you know what kind of role you're looking? What is the dream job?
