What will rebounding after COVID look like? After layoffs, office closures etc. How long could it take to break back in now that networking opportunities have changed, offices are remote, hiring and positions open are limited in comparison to the numbers let go? How realistically will people not be able to reclaim a job in this industry? How long is too long of gap due to COVID and will companies ie (young recruitment teams who are naive) overlook thise gaps due to the economy?

I interviewed at KPMG, CTC part already discussed, I clearly mentioned I’m holding offer and I’m expecting 20-30% hike on my offer and he agreed and proceeds my profile.
I cleared 1st technical round and second round interviewers asked my expectations and same I replied. Then he talk very unprofessional and also he is explaining how much they have effort for conducting one interview and here you’re doing shopping. He ended the interview.
What about our efforts and time?

A couple of weeks ago I filed a default package, asking for 60k. Mind you, to get to this point, complaint was never answered, statement of damages was served, heard nothing, request for entry of default filed and served, heard nothing. But now, out of the blue, my firm gets a call from defendant’s attorney, asking us to stip to put aside default. Thoughts on how to proceed.... do I agree to stip? Or do I tell them to shove it just like they did to my clients complaint?

I work for a small business and on March 4th I was offered a higher level position with a much higher set of responsibilities. I was excited and agreed pending a conversation regarding salary that was to take place one week later on 3/11. I immediately saw that I was being tasked projects and added to emails that had to do with my new title and as a team player, I did my part.
