Staff 2, worked at 3 clients in the past busy season. Around 70% of my feedback are “Often”, 20% “Usually” and 10% “Always”. Shall I worry about being fired?

Yes, but mainly bc you’re a gold standard worry wart.

like

Wait I'm confused. Does your rating system compare you to people in other levels? So a "Gold Standard" staff is doing the work of a manager and not just a really good staff? That makes no sense.

like

S T F U. Seriously? That sounds level appropriate + no one understands WTF Leads is anyway. Um, you are f'n set. Rolling. Smiting demons and zombies with your bare hands and steely gaze. Women love you, men want to be you (I don't care what gender you actually are, I'm sticking by this).

I can’t decide what’s more of a joke - HR or LEAD

like

Recalculated: 60% Often, 30% Usually and 10% Always😂

like

Are you sure EY1? One of my Senior got warned by HR for giving Gold Standard to another staff. HR asked “is he better than a manager?"

like

No need to worry OP. Those are good reviews. You’re doing everything you should be doing and then some.

like

Thanks EY3. Less worried now😖

like

I don't think that constitutes a warning. HR has been trying to make up for the lack of guidance from the roll-out, not threaten people for giving cushy ratings.

You are so funny EY4😂😂

Who invented LEAD? Partners or HR?

HR. This is how they self perpetuate their "importance"
HR is leads and leads is HR. It's like the Matrix, but those terrifying death machines are better company at a bar than anyone from HR

I heard Mercury is supposed to be a POS (instead of an SAP)

“Often" isn’t where you should want to be so I would encourage you to have a thorough discussion with those who gave you the rating so that by the end of the last cycle you shifted the pendulum the other direction. If you don’t know why you have to ask, and the flip side it is really bad on the reviewer if they never discussed your rating before you received it.

This is the graphic you should follow

This is what you should follow to interpret the scales. Never and Rarely should be cause for concern. Almost Always is Exceptional.

All of my Dashboard is between Often and Usually, but more towards Often. Seems I am on track...

What is a good interview answer for leaving a job after a few months when the real reason is that you’re sleeping with one eye open in hopes of not being on the chopping block after two rounds of massive layoffs? Company culture is at an all-time low, and it will only go down from here from what I’ve seen in the short months I’ve been there.

I was in the final round of interview with Amazon right before the layoff news came out. A week later, I got an “incline” offer for the position that I’m applying to. Can anyone share their experience and tell me what that “incline” means? Retail Operations getting hit. I wonder if this opening will still be available. If so, I got an offer later. Will this be a hire to fire case?

Just got out of a meeting with a client. Talk about uncomfortable- they'd fired their director that morning and he ran in screaming at the team. They ended up calling security to kick him out!

Ogilvy leadership talk alot about transparency. I would love them to put their words into action. Lauren should come out and confirm that she did not get a bonus (the sad truth of the matter is that despite layoffs, revenue and margin declines, it would not surprise me if she did). Sad state of affairs. Happy to stand corrected.
