What are you client follow-up policies? Support staff in office seems to be unmotivated and for example, in one matter, one month after being retained and a few days before a status conference, financial disclosures weren’t ready. In another, 35 days to respond to discovery. We tell client to have us stuff in 21 days to give us 2 weeks to organize. How many calls/emails to client 1 in 30 days? How much follow up with Client 2 if things are not in order?
Just asking to get a long term perspective
I am having 11 years of exp in QA , currently holding designation of Project manager in a midsize startup. I have got 2 offers but for QA lead however the hike is fine but should I switch from PM to QA lead.
Considering my age which is 32 years, I think I can take managerial position later in my career since most of the managers are 38-40 yrs.

I'm working at CG from last 5 months for MBRDI project. I was thinking of switching my job as my current project will end by November this year. Not sure what project would i get into later so want to be prepared. I would like to know how much hike can i ask for considering its been only 5 months with CG and by the time i join a new company it would be 8 month due to 90 days notice period. My YOE is 11 years currently.
Considering pivoting into tech. Currently considering Project Management or Presales tech. I understand the general roles of each. Presales seem to make more than PM, so I am leaning towards presales. Curious if any PMs considered presales and why you decided to do Project management instead

Anyone staffed in Houston? This project isn't so terrible so have nights to explore if anyone else wants to check out the town
What other jobs would require a similar generalist skillset besides project management or product management? I come from a development background who moved into UX space and project management and now playing a product manager hat in my current company, wanting to change jobs but worried my experience may only land me an junior product manager role which results in a $20k pay cut.
Just wanting to explore options and curious in general what other tech roles can a generalist apply for?
Can we pause and talk about this Spotify assessment test? Is it a good sign I got one? Are SATs for jobs now a thing???

I work in clinical research and I’m under consideration to work for another research facility; however I hesitate because it’s a consulting position that can turn to permanent. It’s a huge pay increase (8-10 more) with benefits, PTO, etc. Any thoughts about consulting or temp-to-permanent jobs?
I got a offer letter from Wipro and my stream is WSM general stream. This is a BPO right?
Those in international tax: pros/cons? If I have the option to chose to specialize in international tax should I? What do you hate/love about it?

So my ISD split me between a HS and a MS that recently reopened. I'm the only MS band director. The MS decided, without consulting me, to use the band hall as a classroom and after school enrichment "daycare". AKA added desks and tables. How do I approach this? I feel it is not OK in the slightest. I feel the band hall should reflect the goals, discipline, and culture of the program. Not as an empty classroom.
What are your thoughts and opinions?
For those in AM: thoughts on CAIA, CIPM, etc?? I was wondering if these will actually help vs. just waste of money.

Does anyone have experience with reporting to an extreme (male) micromanager? It’s gotten to the point where we are having 4-5 1:1s per week. But he gives me a lot of positive feedback so I don’t think it is performance or trust-related. I am struggling with the best way to navigate the situation, and I’m worried about sharing the feedback with him directly as to not jeopardize my career, performance evaluation and/or our working relationship. Any advice would be so welcome!
