Started a new job it's a completely sink or swim environment. I don't need hand holding and try to solve myself, but I've gotten not guidance.

I've been given lots of work and told off when I don't complete it. But, when I ask a questions (say at 9:30am), my manager or others will say ask at 11..then will say ask at 5:30pm etc, which is happening on a daily basis and when they have time "I dunno, this company is messy".

Tired of this, and it impacting my emotions outside of work.

In April they said I have the job still waiting. I am a project accountant III to a finance business manager.Could be long nights &stress. Still unknown pay maybe 20k increase.. Last week I was offered a govt job at NGA (Budget analyst) 40k increase not guaranteed remote. 45 min drive +retirement

Im starting a new job but still employed somewhere else. I was trying to be open about staying at BOTH places. My current job won’t let me be part time because they don’t allow “set schedules”. Yet I am one of the only reliable and loyal employees in the department, and currently working a set schedule. So why will they not let me continue a set schedule but with different hours? This place is more focused on strict policies and not actually trying to work their employees and being flexible.

I am potentially getting an offer from Meta as a product manager, in active interviews now. Any comp gut checks available for an L4 or L5 product manager? They won’t give solid info on comp until the offer, I don’t want to waste my time. Also, any insight into work/life balance in this type of role would also be helpful. 3rd yr here in a mid size firm. I’ve been struggling in the mental health dept. I was on leave for 3 wks and have returned to work in June. Hey all, not to be that person, but I very much struggled and still have my bouts with depression. Going gluten free (strict for months to see improvement) helped me an insane amount with getting rid of my depression and lifting the fog. I still have anxiety but cutting out coffee has helped.
