When do you make time to workout? And how has that changed with WFH? I’ve been trying out different things and so far the only reliable way I work out is during the 7 to 8pm period (which is when many people on my time seem to log off for an hour or two to eat dinner or do whatever). Doing that usually means I’m working until around 12 though. How do you handle this? Unfortunately I am extremely not a morning person.
RIP my bank account 😓. Pay deferral program just kicked in. Any budget tips people can recommend to cut short term spending (other than going out to eat and dropping Starbucks. Haven’t done much of that since WFH started).
My employer went above and beyond for me: significant pay increases, WFH daily when I moved away, me making mgt decisions. Trying to decide if it’s time to move on? 25 yo but WFH everyday is lonely
Since I am WFH with a lease that’s up by the end of the month... What LCOL city should I move to for the next 2-3 months? 30M, single, MBB, but trying to save money... ideas?
Company is doing WFH until late next year and have thought about taking the time to live in other cities to experience more of the country. Does anyone have recommendations on where to go (young, good food, and urban city preferably) or is doing something similar? Currently based in NYC
I recently confided in an MD at PwC that I really dislike the BBD culture of this industry. No one gives you the time of day if there is a Bigger Better Deal around...
My live-in boyfriend of 6 years just broke up with me. I’m completely heart broken and want to leave the city and go home to recover. How can I take leave or convince my project to let me work remote?
With WFH indefinite, now considering relocating outside New York State, but will earn income from an NYC based company. Will I still be subject New York City income tax?
I am really worried about the California 4 phase approach that the governor announced today. If the red states open up then the fed stimulus packages will stop. How can CA (especially LA) afford to close down the entertainment industry and service industry until there is a vaccine? And those of us who can work from home just have to keeping doing it until there is a vaccine? Wtf
I have a great opportunity on the table that’s currently work remote with the end goal of returning to the office 1-2 times a week when it’s safe. However, after the past couple months, I don’t see myself returning to live in the big city. Has anyone requested to work fully/mostly remote with a new offer? How did it go? How did you request it so it seems beneficial? Thanks 🙏🏼
Do any teams out there need 5–10 hours of remote, mid-level copy support these coming weeks? I’d love to help out. Comment below with your email and I can send you my deets.
Is anyone’s agency compensating WFH office set up? 7 months in and my back is killing me but damn outfitting this is expensive!
All I’m asking for is a job where I work 30 hours a week, fully remote, $220k TC, generous equity, and unlimited vacation. Is that so hard?!
Is it too late to apply to MBA as a SC (apply with 5 years of experience)? Feeling REALLY time crunched to apply in 2019 but afraid I’d be too old to apply next year... please advise
Is signing bonus common as a part of the offer while moving from one consulting firm to another as an experienced hire at manager or principal level? If so, what ranges are typical?
Friend has a full ride to Ross and got waitlisted at Booth and Kellogg. He’s nervous that getting an MBA from Ross won’t afford him the opportunities that Booth & Kellogg might. Any advice for him?
Lots going on and I forgot to pay my car note. Chase reported it to credit bureau and my score dropped. I was alerted to this via credit karma yesterday and immediately paid and then some. Called Experian and put in a dispute. Called chase and they can do nothing. Anything else I can do?
Anyone know of exit opportunities into more of a consulting role from Risk Assurance / want to put in a referral 😂 currently a manager.
It is better to get the mba or spend 4-5 years at different firms doing different things - strategy, tech, finance, customer and getting paid to learn vs paying some college and then getting hired?
Is Private Equity fund accountant a good exit from audit? Anyone doing this now and can share your experience?
What firms would you consider in south east Germany? Currently manager+team lead of 5, 7YoE, specialized in requirement engineering, business architecture and (agile) PM, 90k€ all in.
