Curious what that pays in CAD? I make equivalent to $145K CAD as an an Account Director / PM and Client Operations Lead at a mid-sized US-based PR/Digital comms company, with 6 yrs of exp managing multiworkstream teams and multimillion dolllar projs.

Grateful for any leads too. My network is US-based so this all new for me!

Currently not saying much in meetings. This is only my 2nd project in tech consulting and I really feel like I don’t have much to add in meetings. My first project was a much smaller team so I was forced to add value and even lead workshops but this one is a bigger team where I let the more experienced people talk. Is this normal?

The lead of my previous project refused to support me for promotion because I decided to roll off from the project ( although I stayed in that project for 10 more months and handed over everything perfectly) and that lead gave me a hard time when I was about to leave (excluded me from key conversation and even humiliated me). How can I deal with self obsessed teammate. We are all wrkng on same project and she is always in her own world. She won't let others speak. Whatever she speaks there is no single point helps the project. But she thinks she is always correct. I don't like arguing with her Bec she is not able to accept her mistakes. How do other, particularly small, partnerships deal with write offs of client bills? First month as partner and former boss, now partner, had me cover something last minute. Client freaked. Partner said he would write it off and it would just come out of his cut. Now, he’s trying to say that client gets a “credit note” and there’s no money to divide for that matter.

I doubt anyone in here is actually a partner but would someone know the logistics of becoming a partner?
E.g you are informed that you can be elected into the partnership. What's next? Is there a "buy-in" and is that the same for everyone or depends how much "ownership" of the firm you want. What about "salaries". I know once you make partner you no longer are considered an employee and that your pay is based on how well the firm does. So do you still have a consistent salary? Still biweekly?

Just had a fresh college grad join our team. Been in consulting literally 2 weeks and they’re literally one of the most effective team members I’ve ever seen.

Like it’s kinda scary how quickly she got the grasp of the project; listens intently and always spits out really cogent points. She’s gonna eclipse me here very quickly (and I’m completely fine with that).

Just damn I didn’t expect that from an undergrad with 2 weeks experience.
