I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY
Hello dear peers,
Someone please guide me about the hierarchy at DXC.
4.1 professional - 1
4.2 professional - 2
5 Senior Professional / Associate Manager
Where does manager lie in this hierarchy .
Is it above level 5 and is it called level 6.
And what is the salary range for Manager position.

Boston Consulting Group 🐠 I have a tech case interview for a SM position. Never had to do one in current and previous firm positions. I really want this job especially after meeting the HM as it sounds like a perfect fit for me. I just found out it’s this week. I got the initial email for steps and how to handle it, but all prep/help is appreciated. TIA.
look for an exit. worth moving cities if you can’t get a substantial raise at another firm imo. that’s not enough to live in the city. i know i’m 7 years out of UG with predictable lifestyle creep, but i imagine you’re just scraping by.
inb4 all the bleeding hearts point out the service workers who make less. do they though? a waiter or bartender at a big4 analogous restaurant in NYC probably makes about the same, if not more. they might even have benefits too. yeah, some people in the city are poorer. they don’t work for a big4 firm.
the 2 year mark is a good time to leave so it sounds like your mind is in the right place.
My friend got 63 and graduated '18 so you’re fine no offense
Also edit: I don’t think you’re entitled (I see you calling yourself that) and do think you should be paid more
I mean do you have a wealth of undergrad and high school experience that justifies a high salary? You’re in the audit group without a CPA and even accountants don’t make very much.
My other comment apparently isn’t showing up. You’re appropriately compensated for your job - look at how much seniors make in audit with a CPA. That said, 60k in New York isn’t a lot. I’d look for an exit. It’ll probably be easier once you cross the 12 month mark but it may be difficult to avoid another entry level position especially if you go to industry.
What do you eat? Crackers and cheez?!
Eat what I want on weekends since I’m covered during the week on travel, but not taking home much money since I moved to the city :(
Audit doesn’t pay... pretty sure the hierarchy is Strategy > Advisory > Audit at big 4 in terms of pay
I’d agree to the hierarchy and have been told that because we’re under audit umbrella that’s why the pay is less — even though we have many projects with strat and advisory on the same team, doing the same thing. Just seems unfortunate.
