For writing samples in clerkship applications, can you edit/revise a final work product already submitted to the court? For instance, if there's a typo or something. Can more substantive edits be made to improve the work product?

Need advice: My firm just fired my whole team (said it’s becoming a conflict of interest buyside vs sellside). After the meeting, I was offered to stay at the firm and move to sellside, or I was also offered to follow my MD (who built out this sector) as he starts his own business (non compete waived, clients to be transferred). I’ve been told from someone who lives in Texas that it is not safe to get a small car because the roads there are “rough” and that most drivers own suvs or trucks and drive really fast on the highways.
