I’m currently an SAE at an agency in DC making $75k. 2.5 YOE but it’s my first agency job.

Is this a good salary for the role and my YOE? What salary should I be pushing for next year, whether it’s a raise or at a new firm? I’m new to agency life so any input is appreciated!

Seeing your guys posts have me really sad.. So I started at Rite aid 3 years ago at start of Covid when I lost my job (factory) closed with no experience or training.. I’m now MI state licensed, not nationally certified. I fought with the union to get raises in our district and they did give us pay raises on the first of the 2022 year. so making 13.50 with a 25 cent pay raise a year.. I love my job and coworkers and my pharmacist.. but seeing these pay rates y’all have I’m very disappointed.

Does any of my Hr folks also manage the safety department or is it included in your job duties and responsibilities? I was instructed to get OSHA 10 and 30 certified. So I did this. I possess my BA in Criminal justice, along with two associates degrees. Included is about 4 years experience in HR. I am younger, at age 25. I’m conflicted about where im supposed to be at in salary. The excuse here seems to be that I’m “too young,” however, someone else had said “im young in my career.”

Hi Folks,

I'm in negotiation with the this data co (which is only 10 % over offered fixed ctc) but HR hasn't shown much confidence. They have asked for week's time & say can only offer a signing bonus. I'm getting a bit nervous as it's an opportunity I've always wanted!

Am I panicking unnecessarily? Should I hold my nerve? Or should I break the logjam and just accept?

PS I had just joined another org because they were taking too long to process + my dream co is only matching current CTC.

Any advice for negotiation? I made the mistake of accidentally letting slip my current salary and now I’m in final rounds at Facebook and the salary that was disclosed to me by the recruiter is lower than expected and now they’re saying it’s essentially non-negotiable? I don’t have the job yet, so I didn’t ask too many questions, but I’m worried I won’t have much leverage when the time comes.

Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

Not technically a negotiation question, but I was wondering whether in the long term, it will look bad on my resume if I leave after just a couple of months in a role, or if it matters more how long I was at the company total.
