I’m starting a new position as an internal IT Prod Manager moving from a BA role. I’m finding I need to also play BA, Scrummaster, and now Technical Project Manager. I assume it’s normal for a PM to wear these many hats?

I welcome any advice on how to successfully perform in this new role…

Preparing for a final round interview at Meta and the recruiter mentions they’ve instilled a Product Design “hiring freeze” effective until August.

I’m still interviewing, but if I make it through, they can’t actually hire me until this freeze subsides.

I am finishing up a project and I’m trying to document what I’ve done for my resume. What are some good metrics for someone who mainly created user stories, created dashboards, interacted with the client and developed statistical models? Need to focus on sales pitch, presenting webinars and in general having a positive sales voice instead of a technical detail oriented one.
I've done toastmasters and I'm fine normally as an extrovert. But tend to panic and not do my best when it's a high stakes work related moment to clients. Internally at work with my office teams, I'm fine.
Not awful, but definitely room for improvement with regards to my public client facing persona.

Being a technical PM feels like I have less ownership.
All decision making is done in the presence of engineering and data science. In addition to that there is another PM that actually leads the UI of our overall application so often times they are the ones directly interacting with a user and giving us requirements very much in a waterfall way. Is this the nature of technical product management or there’s something that I’m not doing right?

Hey all, I'm a Product Manager 9 months into a Big4 consulting manager role. I've come to the conclusion that although I can succeed in consulting, my preference is to own the roadmap and have a larger influence on the 'what' for a product instead of offering recommendations and executing on another PMs backlog. I've now accepted an offer as PM at a well SaaS product company, where I will have a more hands on role, shaping the product and delivering valuable outcomes. Thoughts welcome! :)
