- Chilly. Bring a coat. The wind is what will make it most uncomfortable, bring scarf/coat to block it - Uber and Lyft run in full force here - I'll leave the last for the D fish

like

If working from the D office the W and JW are in walking distance. Anything else is pretty much a short cab/Uber ride, especially in this weather

like

Chicago native here. Definitely bring a coat. Think about your shoes too - it gets super gross when the winter snow turns into slush in the streets/sidewalks. I take Uber/Lyft to save a few bucks usually. But cabs are everywhere in the loop - take whatever is more convenient. When you’re leaving ORD, take a cab. Usually much less of a wait. the W or JW are both solid

I was born and raised in NYC (Manhattan), and I’ve never been to Chicago. Not sure what to expect

The real cold starts now and will get progressively worse thru feb. Its still winter jacket weather though. Lots of people bring snow boots for walking and pack professional shoes...im still in normal shoes though Inside the loop i take cabs...they are easier and faster to get than uber. Actually i only take cabs here

Thanks guys!

Landing Monday morning and departing Thursday afternoon I would recommend the CTA blue line if you fly in and out of ORD.

Definitely use blue line. Way faster than Uber in/out of Ord

CTS : No clarity as of now, only thing I am aware is that I’m a part of full stack community. HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two. R-Systems and CTS are giving same CTC. I have 8 yoe as a BA. It's been 2 months since I joined a Big4 as a Scrum master. I was asked to shadow the project manager but the person is just not helpful. I am not looped/forwarded any emails, no client introduction has been done, no tasks, no one contacts me all day long except for the one call in a day where I am the silent spectator. Am I in trouble?

PSA: if you’re going out on vacation, do it properly. Help me help you. I don’t want to bother you while you are out. But you told me you were doing all this stuff and since you are a midlevel and generally good at your job, I believed it was getting done. You should have either finished all of it (talking about stuff you said you were handling a month ago) and/or sent me a clear email saying “I didn’t have time to handle XYZ if you could take over”. I would like to increase my chances this time since there are multiple roles open across different teams. I’m really worried about the GCA round since this loop is different and I don’t have experience in UX. Does anyone have any resources that would be useful for me to leverage for this round?
