Starting a new project with my team. Should everyone learn a new library or should I push for using the library I'm familiar with, so that at least I have experience and can teach others?

It really depends on the purpose and how much a new library would help. If it has benefits, go for it. Otherwise, stick with what you know works.

Agreed. If there’s a system you know and trust then go for it, but if there would be a benefit to everyone starting fresh then you could take that route.

I mean if at least one person has experience with something, that will almost always help, no?

Prototype, compare pros and cons then decide if you can

Blame the brief. Blame the CD. Blame account. Blame the client. Blame the agency. Blame the industry. Just never, ever, ever blame yourself or your work. It’s perfect.

Deloitte moms: on the leaves paperwork, which partner did you get approval from? Was it the offering talent lead, project partner, or did you route through your coach? Also, I’m really confused how to put down estimated dates. I’m planning to take 2 weeks off before due date as I’ve read others on this bowl have done but does that mean I’m on the bench if the baby arrives late or do I have to take more vacation time until the baby comes?

I’ve been working crazy hours and have been at every agency I’ve worked for. My question is...why? Is it poor management client side? Poor communication? Agencies are known for long hours but why is it almost a universal component of the model? For clarity, I am not complaining. Just curious.
