Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.
Is there any vacancy in azure cloud consulting?

Hi there! I transitioned into this role after practicing as a prosecutor for 10 years. My biggest advice is learn the business and your people (your internal clients). Relationships can make or break this role. Also learn how to set boundaries early to establish a certain level of reciprocal respect among the clients with whom you serve. (And your calendar is king lol!) Best of luck!
Make allies. Usually legal counsel work is more people management than law.
What kind of company? Try to learn as much as you can about the products and competitors. I would also try and get your hands on as many executed agreements as you can so you can see what kind of comments your colleagues typically make. Other than that, only time will provide experience!
Congrats! Following for the advice…
Same! I start in 2 weeks. Congrats OP!
What is your salary and market ?
Also, located in the midwest.
To pile on to what others have said: learn the business, build relationships early and spend time maturing those, if the company is public you should review SEC filings which can give you a comprehensive view of how the company holds itself out to the public markets, and make sure you understand the risk profile of the general counsel and the company generally.
Read as much as you can is the best thing you can do and try and meet with other departments often. The more you learn and know about the company the better suited you are for your client.
How did you get this job? I only have 1 year experience too but it’s taking me awhile to find something. It’s very discouraging
To be honest, I got extremely fortunate with my first job out of law school. My 1L summer I worked in house at a AI/tech/aerospace and automotive company and I ended up working there throughout law school and a year after, when I made the switch because I moved states. I know that’s not much help, and I know it can be discouraging but I believe something will open up in time and at the right time for you!
Remember "no" is rarely the answer.
Following as well!
