I mostly wear flat loafers in summer and flat knee high boots in winter. Fwiw I am also very tall but I do still wear some heels (esp booties) if I feel like it.

I’ve been in Boston, ny, Chicago and dallas offices in last couple of months. Anything goes. Literally seen ladies in cute little tennis shoes. I don’t recommend that but it’s very relaxed these days. I am a high heel wearer and have toned that down because it felt too dressy

Haha WILD! Really like that, I think on the first day I’ll just play it safe and wear loafers, and then swiftly move onto my trainers

Same as P1, I opt for a bit of a lug sole personally, because that's my vibe.

What’s too tall for heels? I’m on the taller side (5’9) and loved wearing tall heels in the office.

Ah i getcha. I think i love that feeling. Walking around the kitchen asking partners if they need help getting stuff off the top shelf 🤣

Merrill Advisors - I have a client with an account at Merrill and am told that they have a money fund available which insures up to an aggregate of $5,000,000 in FDIC coverage. Is this a CDARs program and they are misinformed or does such a program exist and what is it called? I was told $5mm in coverage with daily liquidity which obviously wouldn’t apply to CDARs. Many thanks!

In a world of remote consulting work…. How long can the US maintain its high premium over European and, esp. developing market consulting? Both price tag to clients and significantly higher salaries for the people. I imagine may move faster at Big 4, etc. than MBB, but within MBB the huge cost and salary differentials feel… increasingly hard to maintain (even though I think the differential has actually gotten bigger, not smaller in the last two years). Thoughts?

Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
