EY Consulting

Starting conversation with an EY recruiter on an opportunity. I am an experienced Manager with Deloitte, can someone provide an insight into what level in EY I can get into/ negotiate?

Many times I have seen EY bring in people at the manager level in your case. The rationale is to give you time to build your network before you're expected to be delivering on senior manager metrics. Hiring cycle is likely also longer as a senior manager because a business case is typically needed. If you're applying to a growing practice, you're more likely to have an opportunity at senior manager.

A business case was also needed when they were hiring me as a senior consultant.
