Starting my first IVF and have so many insurance questions that I’m struggling to get answered. I have coverage through Deloitte (Aetna, $25K lifetime cap). So far I have had 3 IUIs but when I called Aetna to see how much of the $25K I’ve used they said I had only used $400 and had claims from my first to IUI sessions. Can this be true? Is the negotiated rate between my provider and insurance really that low? Anyone at Deloitte have experience with this?

What amount of bereavement days does everyone have? My father suddenly passed away on Friday and we have 5 official days, but with unlimited PTO. I’m 26 and was completely caught of guard with his declining health and was unsure how quickly I will make it back to work, but felt the 5 days was a little light.

Does anyone else feel like mental health is something everyone is preaching but no one is acknowledging how difficult it is to actually address? (Not meant to be a complaint - curious if others agree)

I’d be curious to hear input. I was diagnosed with PMDD years ago. I actively manage my mental and physical health to account for it. However, some months I’m just completely wiped out while PMSing. I need 12-15 hours of sleep, including naps. Most managers are male. On bad weeks, I’ll just say I’m not feeling well or ate something upsetting or another excuse. Has anyone had a better way of dealing with this diagnosis? Would love to hear. It’s frustrating to hid when it’s medical problem.

I think I’m deep in a depressive episode right now. I’ve been treading water for months. But I’m sinking to rock bottom now and feel I have no choice but to make real changes in my routine and drop some weekly obligations. I saw a dermatologist for a rash and got a referral to another derm that does allergy patch testing. Called that derm this AM to set up an appointment, they left me on hold for 10 min, and then said they would call me right back. Few hours later I called again since I didn’t hear from them—they were super rude and again said they were busy and would call back. It’s almost end of day and I kind of want to blow up on them. Is what they’re doing normal? I need to book asap as I lose insurance soon.

Does anyone know where I can find basic ESL worksheets for newcomers that aren’t British? I just got a few new students whose English is about zero. Thankfully I speak their language (I am the only one in the school who does) but I wanted to start them on basic vocabulary (colors, foods, school supplies etc) and basic grammar. But a lot of the worksheets I find are designed for people learning British English and I don’t want to confuse my students because the vocabulary is different.
