Have anyone of you given the Amazon Online Assessment for MBA summer internship 2023? If so, how long does it take for Amazon to reach out with a decision about next round post OA ?
It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back anything yet. Looking to see if it’s the same with fellow applicants. Thank you

If you’re asking that question you’re already off to a great start. Be on time. Be responsive. Stay late and check in with people before you leave if you know there’s a big meeting. Don’t be afraid to ask questions sooner rather than later. Be proactive in seeking out feedback. Keep in mind creative directors will likely have the biggest say in if you get hired, but also know that every project, no matter how small, matters. When you’re handling someone’s comps who’s on vacation or making banner ads you’re proving yourself as a junior just as much as when you’re concepting. Try to present a united front with your partner (we’ve had a couple sets of interns openly bicker and it didn’t reflect well on any of them). Best of luck! You’ve got this!
Congrats! My advice:
- Get to know as many creatives as you can. This is the beginning of your network
- Ask for more work if you’re bored or not being challenged
- Build a relationship with the creative manager early on. This is the person who controls what projects you’re on and can vouch for you if you’re looking for a job
- Don’t try to pretend like you know everything. Ask all the questions you have! This is the only time it’s acceptable to be clueless
- Ask the CD you admire most in the agency to get coffee and pick their brain or if they can take review your book
- Don’t stop interviewing or talking to recruiters at other agencies
Good luck!
Listen and soak everything up. Always offer help. Get in early and stay late if needed. Network and grab coffees with anyone and everyone you possibly can. Work on side projects with you partner (if you have one). Be yourself and best of luck.
Don’t hide your enthusiasm. Not advising you to pester your mentors per se, but try to check in at least a couple times a week unprompted.
Get as many creatives as possible to look at your portfolio twice before your internship is over. Worst-case scenario at the end of the summer (even if you learn a lot and work on some cool briefs): no book pieces and no full-time offer. Even though advertising is subjective, you’ll figure out which campaigns in your book are working and how to improve the ones that aren’t if you ask enough people. Ask them to look at your book again after their initial feedback session after you’ve changed things. If they take the time to give you a book crit, they genuinely want to help you succeed... but you actually have to make their changes!
Have fun and work hard! Good luck.
Don't be afraid to talk to other creatives, though it might be intimidating at first. But you'll pick up on who is chill and open. Stop by their desk, ask them what they are working on and see if they need any help. I got extra projects that way! Also do something nice before you leave: homemade thank you cards or some creative parting gift to be remembered by. Donuts work too!
Find those you admire and ask if they need help with anything
Yeah I agree. Don’t assume that your role is limited by the assignments you get. Go find your own work. Get exposure to people you look up to. Also do some research and figure out who you look up to.
I think some interns get a little frustrated or dejected if things go a little quiet for a few days. It happens a bit because the people who are working with them a lot (junior / mid / ACDs in this case) are also still trying to do their work. Like others are saying, keeps raising your hand, while also taking some initiative and see what you can do without being handheld.
Be curious. Be friendly. Be proactive in looking introducing yourself and looking for things to do.
Just make connections.
Say yes. Ask questions. Stay late. Have fun
Congrats 🎈🎊🎉🍾
