Sounds like a lot of work
Agreed. This stuff will become more natural over time I wouldn’t add more to your plate as is.

You’ll be fine; no one you’ll work with is an all-knowing genius; you’ll make mistakes and your discomfort will make you remember them. Just be sure to proofread your work and keep a master to-do list for every day (I find it easiest to use pen and paper for this). Reply to your emails as quickly as you can even if it’s just “will do”, it gives people psychological comfort. Forget about most conventional productivity tips and focus on client service: if you are working on a big task and small urgent ones come up, stop the big task and deal with the small then get back to the big one. Also did i mention PROOFREADING lol. It’s really important as a junior.
Honestly - best advice / prep for transactional is to spend some time getting to know how to schedule invites on outlook

Cosign A6, and I know this bc I was a sr corp paralegal before law school.
Great plan, but it will fail in execution. Just keep handwritten to-do lists with deadlines.
I’d keep your notes re mistakes in a Word document rather than a handwritten diary so you can do a keyword search as needed.
I have this in one note, one big omnibus note but have split out comments we get from the clients we work for a lot so I can tailor docs for them. It’s actually quite useful and makes the repeat clients very happy to see they don’t have to make the same points over and over again.
Don’t be overly nervous or anxious. Firms have no associates. You’re already ahead of the game by existing.
