What to expect when the interview is only 30 mins?

Today I had HR discussion wherein my expected CTC was 12.5LPA but HR said they can only give 10LPA including variable..After long discussion I said I'm expecting 11.5LPA atlast then HR said she will get back to me at today EOD..but I didn't receive any updates yet.
Did I miss the offer or HR had to get approval?
Do I need to call and accept whatever they are offering?
But I feel I'm lowballed as I don't have any offer in hand and I'm desperate to get this job..

If a firm offered to match 50% of the RSU you elect to receive by foregoing part of your annual bonus, would you go for it? Obviously for this you have to wait for the RSU to vest so you would need to stay long enough to see this through (2 years).
