Starting to look into egg freezing and gathering info. Wanted to see if anyone here has good recommendations for clinics in the Denver area. For those who have gone through the process, did insurance cover? Any tips for a newbie?

Highly recommend shady grove

like

+1 to this. Shady Grove is a great clinic — the people are nice, it feels more personalized, and they seem to really care.

Conceptions is a good local fertility clinic.

Agreed, also had a great experience with Conceptions. Heard good things about Shady Grove too.

It is cheaper to fly to Europe, pay for lodging, & freeze eggs there than it is to do it in Denver / US. Friend of mine did Spain. Another did England. Haven’t heard of anyone’s insurance covering it.

like

I never thought of that. I'll look into the process/logistics as this maybe a good option for me. Thank you!

CCRM is a clinic here in Denver that people fly in from all over the world to go to. Dr. Schoolcraft is legendary, and I have heard great things about the other docs too.

For insurance, you might check to see what the state laws are for where you are insured out of. Many states have a minimum level of required coverage for infertility. I’m not sure if egg freezing would be covered, but it is sure worth a check.

Good luck!

like

Agree. Dr Schoolcraft gave me my beautiful baby son. Forever grateful.

I believe CCRM is regarded as one of the best in the US. Dr Barton is really sharp

CCRM, one of the best clinics in the world. You are very lucky. Many people travel from other countries to do ivf there.

Have been running for the last few years and consistently get “dead feet” feeling after 3-4 miles. Feet go somewhat numb and I stop and stretch to relive the pain. Have tried a few different types of shoes (on cloud / altra / Nike) to no avail. Even tried the loosening of my shoes. Any advice? I’m in good shape and can cycle for 40-60 miles at a time so endurance isn’t the issue, it’s my feet. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions!!!

My company works with influencers who are independent contractors. However they are not managed by anyone on HR and never have been. They would like to part ways and would like me to send the termination email to the independent contractor. Aside from whether this is appropriate, are there any ethical issues Im missing?
If this is a dumb question cut me a break I’m in a ton of physical pain and I cant see straight.
