Stay for the mentorship or leave for the money?

I'm a Sr. copywriter getting underpaid at a network agency. I've been talking to recruiters, and it seems like I could get a 25% raise if I seriously applied myself and made a lateral move - most likely to an indy.

However, my current agency has been explicit about training me to be an ACD. They love my work and make no bones about saying that they see me in that kind of role.

What would you do?

ACN Senior Manager @ 175k or D Manager @155k?
Same practice (Human Capital) with larger bonus potential at D.

What do people recommend for start-up relevant marketing resources/books/personalities/podcasts?
I have a lot of enterprise marketing experience, but making a jump to a startup and want to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢

I've that the COE team is supposed to guide TCS employees on client end. However, I've also heard that as they do not generate any profits, TCS moves them to client side as soon as possible.

Junior here. How common is it to be nudged off a brief when you can't get ideas through internally? My partner and I are often put on the same briefs as more experienced (sometimes senior) teams.
