So, my timing isn't what it used to be. I left the firm in January after I had a real talk with myself and admitted that this was not what I wanted to do and was not at all good for my mental health.

So, recently seen a lot of (great) posts about weight loss and plateauing, but genuinely surprised to see that many are relying on cutting out food, but not focused on exercising. Why is this the case? There are SO many benefits to health from exercising, beyond just weight loss...

Those of you on Adderall—do you find that you have a harder time holding onto your thoughts when on medication? I feel much better on the medication, but I think it’s doing something to my memory.

It’s so freaking heart-breaking to see my child (elementary age) fall sick and be absolutely miserable. He’s just this joyful, innocent, kind, energetic, and excitable bundle of love and is in so much pain and discomfort and my heart is just 😭😭😭😭😭. With a multi year market bill run, real estate crushing it, cryptos and startups flourishing, the number of millionaires, decamillionaire, centimillionaires and billionaires is growing rapidly. Add inflation in the mix and I worry that my former FIRE goal of 10M by 50 just won’t cut it the way the world is moving. What happened here? I refinanced my student loans in November 2019 and got a 10-year variable at ~2.5% pegged to LIBOR. When 2020 hit, LIBOR tanked and my interest rate went down to 0.75%. Looking at similar loans now, I can’t find anything close to this rate. Is this just a quirk of my original timing?

Any market considerations before refinancing my student loan with current rates? They’re giving me a .75-1% drop.

It’s worth it to refinance at this rate to save paying $1000 of interest albeit credit gets hurt. My only concern is missing out on inevitable lower rates forthcoming.
