Program manager salary at Slalom?
It was a mistake. Housekeepers have hard jobs and don't need additional grief. Let it go.
0 points. Do you always give clients or team members compensation when you make a mistake?
Who doesn’t lock the door? That’s what the deadbolt is for
Come on don’t get some minimum wage person struggling to make ends meet fired, let it go
While sometimes it feels like housekeeping isn’t doing their job, here are a few things to consider when they enter the room:
- Your privacy sign might have fallen off or was taken down by someone staying at the hotel (I have a friend who loves to do this). Housekeeping could have put it back up when they saw you were there.
- Since the Mandalay Bay incident some hotels go into the room on daily basis even with the privacy sign up to ensure the room is not being used for evil deeds. The proper time period is up to the hotel.
- Housekeeping has wrong information on when you are checking out. It could be something internal
- You may have requested a late check out and the check in person did not note it down correctly. Housekeeping will go into the room after check out time even with a privacy sign.
- If you door has not been unlocked by a key card in a while, the hotel workers enters the room to make sure you didn’t die or were murdered. One hotel I stayed at said if the room isn’t unlocked with the keycard for 24 hours they always enter the room.
With the lack of even a knock, it sounds like the hotel thought something was up with your room or had stayed beyond the noted intended check out time. Housekeeping almost always knocks first before entering a room.
I’m with sm. We need a pic to see how dressed
U seem so entitled. You never missed a deadline or made a mathematical error or something on he job? Those are as obvious as missing the sign on the door...but I bet u made hundreds.
Learn to forgive and just make the comment at the front desk. These individuals experience a tough life as it is.
Pics or it didn't happen? But seriously, I agree with everyone about letting it go.
OP - not judging but seems like because your GF was barely dressed you are trying to bank on points.. if she wasn’t wearing anything than would you settled down for lifetime Platinum?
At least she was dressed even if barely
Lmbo someone has to pay for that type of incompetence.
Thats not a mistake reading is fundamental.
Who touches a door knob without seeing a sign on the knob.
Report and ask for what you deem is appropriate.
I would want a week at a ritz all inclusive for free of course.
I had similar story, was in bed with my wife on high floor and left window shade open, heard noise on window, was window washer checking us out!!! Hotel was supposed to leave notification card on nightstand
Definitely report it to the front desk.
Yeah - it was just an accident.
Give the feedback to the front desk, but don’t ask for anything
I let it go and didn’t push for anything! To me it was a genuine breach of privacy, the sign was on the door knob (which you’d use to open the door) and we had music playing. Just worried that letting it go easily would not cause any discomfort to them and such “mistakes” will continue happening.
You have the right to a reasonable amount of probably in a hotel room. Especially one like the Ritz. Inaction is the same as agreeing with the behavior.
Stupid OP
