All good P1! I wish all client misunderstandings were resolved as civilly as this 😂

Shibuya 100 times over. And the Robot Restaurant was immensely overrated in my opinion. Spend that time and cash bar hopping along golden gai instead!

like

FYI - Golden Gai is in Shinjuku.

like

Shinjuku. The Hotel Gracery is 👌.

But personally, if I wasn't trying to optimize for access to Shinjuku station, I'd go for any business hotel near Akihabara in a heartbeat. APA and Dormy have a couple good locations there. I'm a degenerate otaku, so Akiba is the center of my universe. Y'all normies can gtfo

Shinjuku 10000%

M1: sorry for the misunderstanding. I just interpreted the logic of your comment in a different direction.

I'm not a partier so we enjoyed the quiet peaceful Shibuya area to stay in. Shinjuku was only a few subway stops away anyway.

Shinjuku FOR SURE. Do the Robot Restaurant. It’s touristy but v memorable

P1 it sure is! But also right next door to the Robot Restaurant - hence the suggestion as an alternative

OP, I recommend staying in Min and Haru place if you decide to stay in Shinjuku. They have excellent reviews.

M1: totally agree 😁

Shinjuku for sure

How do you not care / stress way too much about your job? I am a mom and stressed out most workday evenings thinking about the work / interactions during the day. I have heard TEd talks about compartmentalizing job vs personal life , mindfulness etc , but I don’t change. I could literally leave my job & focus on kids alone & be fine as husband is in a executive position. Yet, it’s my own career focus & my self induced stress and pressure that takes a toll on me. What’s your advice for me?

What are the side effects of a small dosage of Adderall? I am thinking about getting tested, as this bowl has made me realize I may need to be. What has been keeping me from doing so for years was fear of being put on medication, but now I feel like although I’m almost 40, my career would vastly benefit from being diagnosed, or at least ruling it out.

Landed a job in NYC. As much as I want to live there and will be moving in with my partner I think the most financially savvy option is to live in Jersey city to save on the city tax. Both our salaries would definitely go up next year so moving to the city would be a huge possibility in 2022. Has anyone else started our in Jersey city first ? Is it worth it or should I just try to make it work in NYC ?

Hi everyone, I am looking for advice on getting to the same company but in a different country. I had an internship at multinational FMCG company in purchasing in country 1 (5 ys ago). I then went studying abroad to country 2 and stayed doing the jobs which came with the visa - sales/accounting/marketing but all for really small companies (20 e-s max). I keep dreaming about getting back to FMCG co but in country 2. Applied directly/chatted to ex coworkers in country 1 - no luck. Any advice?

Can someone legitimately explain to why bankers take so long to come up with LBO models on the financing side, and refuse to allow us to review them in detail? We provide preliminary feasibility analysis on loans on so many deals and the difference of what the bank comes up with is always minimal, but always takes a month? Can anyone walk me through what happens on the other side? It tends to be very frustrating.
