What do we think of big corps (like my employer) actively fishing for entrepreneurial talent? I myself joined after a failed startup + am always happy to meet fellow (ex-)founders at Invent, so think it’s great that we’re actively attracting them - what do others think?

We had a really good training session recently, they asked us to pre-watch the Karen Eber Ted Talk - how your brain responds to stories -- and why they're crucial for leaders. Which was really good and then discuss that.
There was then a PowerPoint with a storytelling guide on it, talking about the importance of storytelling in the process. That this is a separate part of a project that you should be dedicating time to, to get it right. Depending on the length of the project most people In a one/two week project would dedicate at least 2 days to making sure the story is right. This includes selecting data to go into the presentation, finding the right story, having to do any additional work to add to the story, making the presentation, making sure the slides are clear and easy to understand etc.
There was also a storytelling framework that was something like : background, problem, insight, aha moment and solution. With he aha moment being a key part of the story that leads on to your recommendations. This was really good to practice with examples on so we had an idea of how we could apply this to our work.
I hope some of that might be useful, I don't work for an agency but I do a lot of presentations often to leadership teams and getting the story right is so important for them to listen and take recommendations. Presenting just data without a story doesn't tend to work well as they just lose interest.
