What are everyone’s thoughts on IULs? I (24) met with an advisor and he pitched the product so I did my own research and I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews. I have a mortgage so I think life insurance is necessary. I’ve maxed my Roth contribution and, in a year, I will have a 401K with an employer match. My husband (25) has been investing since he was 18 so we have some basic stocks as well. Looking into IUL but I want to be educated. If you suggest another life insurance option, please share.

I like in Oklahoma where I make 34K per year. Houses aren't that expensive but on top of my other expenses, saving for a house seems nearly impossible.

If my company is deducting tax on reimbursements for example relocation, flight travel, mobile usage, etc. Then how to show in tax filing? bcoz as per my understanding it should not be taxable as I am using my money and company is refunding and no extra income. It's like I have already paid once and while refunding company again deducting. Please guide on this issue.

Should we buy a new property?
Context: newly engaged(27F & 30 M) we each own a house 1400 sqft(3 bed 2 ba $280 K bought 2021 @ $232K) & (4bed 2 ba $325 K bought 2020 @ $246 K) both at 3.0 interest rate.
We are looking to buy a new built 4 bed 3 ba for 4.75 for $370 K. The logic here is we will rent out our current properties and slowly build up our real estate portfolio. Don’t know if it makes sense. HHI is $425 K with an additional $100 K in passive variable income. No kids yet. TIA
