Still wondering what would happen if I honestly comment on the capabilities and opportunities at a client site during my review discussions.

What would happen at the client site? Or what would happen at the review discussion?

A bit of both I guess...

Depending on how honest, one might not reach a review discussion!!

If you're honest to a fault the client will hate you for it. Best to put bits and pieces of the truth in the recommendation. It's like a kid taking his medicine

Everyone in this line of business learns to deal in shades of black and white. The day I comment 100% honestly, is the day I'm on my way out.

When corona started, I was way more lenient with drinking on weekdays, since life was boring now and it was a way to chill out and have fun even if I was just hanging in my apartment. Now it’s been months and I still feel like I use drinking to mark the transition from working to chilling almost every day. Is this a bad thing? I never expected to be WFH this long. I used to be pretty much a social drinker. Wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

Hiring managers - How much of an impression is it to you when someone mentions they've done work for companies on the fortune 500/100/50 list on their resume or LinkedIn, or even in interviews?

Personally rarely mention it unless asked, but does it matter? When someone does, is their application more appealing to you as a candidate to interview?

For those of you who are in-house, how did you get comfortable with needing to be more of a generalist? I know some in-house roles, especially at large companies, are specialized. However, even then it just seems like you’re expected to know about so many different areas (with far less support than at a firm). I’m tired of billable hours, but I really love (& feel more comfortable) being a specialist.
