First time a job has ever offered mental health insurance to me. I just started 20MG of Prozac, it doesn’t make me sleepy but I don’t feel any different. My OCD still affects me at work. So I just had 2 tables fight in a restaurant. Table A coughed and table B said oh covid and laughed. Happens that table A is Asian and table B is white.
Table A assumed the joke is because they are Asian and table B says no, everyone got covid not just Asians it’s just a bad joke; who is right?
Table A escalated to a fight and had to be both separated and asked to leave. Who is right?

Has anyone made the jump from in-house legal over to the business side? How did the transition go? Would you do over it again? I work in a niche area (workplace health and safety) and have gotten a promotion in place, but have maxed out my growth in the legal department if I want to stay in safety. This is my third year living in New York! I think something that I wish I knew earlier was the size and ease of transportation from some areas.

I would personally recommend looking for living in boroughs like
- Brooklyn
-Queens
-Bronx

Some areas in these boroughs are way lower in rent than Manhattan and could easily get you to your job with one train ride.

A commute may help you save thousands a year. This hopefully could get you paying your own mortgage instead of rent
