I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

My organization absorbed another and the former deputy PM became a branch head - a demotion. For org was more focused on tech dev and not delivering a product on a sked. New org is very focused on that. He is not a driving leader, but is the only one with the tech knowledge needed. He is retirement eligible. He has no heir apparent - previous org didn’t plan that way. If I move him under someone who is a driver - he retires and I lose the knowledge. If I don’t, we may not meet schedules. Advice?

What are your favorite personal finance books? I just read Rich Habits and really liked it. I am also reading the Psychology of Money. Looking to read some more!

I’ve been working at this company for a year now and they’ve recently gone through a merger with another company. Now there are two sets of C level leadership. Everything is confusing and I feel like employees are being left in the dark. I asked someone in HR for some information as to Wage tables etc and haven’t received a response in over a month.
