I’ve seen some post with folks claiming that they have $300K to $500K saved up and are between the age of 24-27.. how is this true? Tell the true story. “I still live at home and parents cover my expenses and I didn’t have student loans?” $84K (before taxes) is the average pay for Management consultants in the US (Glassdoor). Please share how you’re saving up your whole salary year after year or have multiple jobs while delivering quality work for your current employer.
Given the choice, would you be on a client mgmt/ new opportunities team (beginning stages of assessment), assessment/ strategy team, or implementation team?
Upgraded to a suite...slammed my foot against a chair walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night because it's so far away from the bedroom. I'm thinking at least 500k points.

How do your companies recognize technical (e.g., STEM) accomplishments? I’ve heard of old school things like fellowships and “Distinguished Engineer” titles. Wondering what other places do now. I’m struggling to see where my path leads if I don’t want to be a people manager and instead focus on becoming a top technical IC instead. Are there clear paths for that anymore?
I went to my first online networking event today. It was incredibly nerve wrecking. I found myself comparing myself to the other new members and people with similar experience to myself. I have only entry level experience in my field (human resources) and majority of the attendees had much more, executive level experience and a few entry level. How can I handle future networking events if I honestly can’t even answer the questions designed for us to discuss workplace conflict, policy etc when I’m only on the entry level side of it (doing the entry level job) and not the HR side.
Took me a long time to figure out: 1) don’t interview for jobs, interview the boss you will be reporting to 2) don’t count on your employer for anything ( including your finances) have 2 or 3 side
Any folks who interviewed at the PwC FS Capital Markets NYC interview day yesterday got the offer?
