Has anyone gotten the 125k Amex platinum welcome offer? Interested in applying for the card but only seeing 75-100k lately. Advice to get targeted? Also what’s bonus via Amex gold referral?
How do you all role out your ERG

What sort of industry roles do folks exit to when aligned to operations transformation work?
How does experienced hire interview process for MBB differ from on campus MBA process? I made final rounds of on campus but made silly mistakes with math. Are cases any easier out of school?
Have been looking at working for foundations on the banking side post grad (ie, GS, BOA, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, etc.) or large family foundations that work on grants, community development and social impact post-MBA. I know Yale is well known for their social impact space but are there any other programs that come to mind I should explore? I was considering going an MBA + MPP because those really pair well with that kind of role.
Have worked at PwC in US / UK with 4.5 YOE. Manager now and 25 years of age. What do you guys think above a move to MBB India? What level should I try to recruit at? Currently based in London but considering a move back. Do I need an MBA (I have a CS Undergrad from US)?
Hey guys - I work at FAANG right now, and planned on an mba in the next 2-3 years. Have an opportunity with McKinsey as a consultant. Always wanted to work there, but only for a short stint - feel like it will 1) boost my overall profile for an mba application 2) give me the experience I’m looking for before mba because post mba I’d like to focus on my own venture. Also folks at McKinsey - would love to hear what conditions there are for getting an mba sponsored at the firm. Thanks!
How do I get in contact with a headhunter? Or at least get on their radar. I’m at a boutique firm in Upstate New York with 2.5 years experience including litigation, medical depositions, appellate briefs and a pending brief before the Court of Appeals. I would prefer to move laterally into either a legal research position or litigation associate role in the NYC area. Appreciate any insight or feedback.
A very strategic move for all parties involved, lots of good activities from CISA. Trustwave partners with CISA and joins CISCP to help strengthen U.S. cybersecurity resiliency https://www.helpnetsecurity.com/2021/07/25/trustwave-cisa-ciscp/
So my mom is a helicopter mom who seems to have planned out my life: 2 yrs at my job rn->2 yrs in a new city->2 yrs at an mba program->get married and pop out grandkids. We have a very tumultuous relationship (I've always been more "independent and westernized," she is more traditionalist Chinese tiger mom, I went into business vs her wanting me to follow my family into medicine for $$) How do I tell her I do not appreciate her planning my life for me and discourage future interference? Cont.
Salary research: Hey fellow designers, I recently saw a tweet that the new hourly rate for designers in US is $200-250hr(screenshot). And more people seem to confirm that: https://twitter.com/francois_bach/status/1399063307936354309?s=21 I think the lack of awareness of how much our peer designers make causes huge gap differences in what we’re paid. I work full time for a sorta established tech startup in NYC with 100+ employees. As a sr product designer I made $85k/year (no other monetary bonus) In my new role I make $127k/year (about $67/hr). Hbu?
Are these MBB preMBA access programs targeted towards under-represented pre-MBA industries? Assuming they’re not really looking for T2 consultants?

My company is bleeding talent! I took up a PM role 3 months ago at a not-so-hot smaller tech company. When I joined there were 8 PMs. Today, 6 of those have quit and 3 of those are in the past 3 weeks. We’ve hired 3 more since I joined. I haven’t built deep enough relationships here to probe about their reasons for leaving, but I’m really concerned. The company is undergoing many changing priorities and acquisitions in play which definitely could be why. What would you do in my shoes?
Hi all, would love to get your opinion on an estimated market rate for a employee like me, as I’m thinking about asking for a raise in January but haven’t done this before. 1 YOE TS/SCI Full-Scope Clearance 1/2 thru Masters program (Analytics Georgia Tech) Been lead data scientist on team for 5+ months 2 AWS and Tableau cert (sorry had to throw that in there lol) I know this is a tough task without all the context but I’m currently making $95k and that seems to be the lowest on my team.
2.5 years at Tier 2 or 3 consulting firm 🤷♂️ and looking to transfer to MBB (preferably). I know 3 people at M, is it weird to just hit them up and ask for a referral?
I was made redundant in September (less than 1YOE), and this week I learned that they hired someone to my position the month after - how should I feel about this? Is this normal?
Do you think agencies are hiring a larger percentage of freelancers to bypass their promises of improved parental leave, which are only available to full-time staff?
Blessing or curse: When your client is federated through Skype so they can IM you. I lean towards the curse side.
Do you necessarily have to declare when you move away from your home office? E.g based in NYC but then you go move 2 hours away. Assuming you don't need to go to your home office often
Has anyone noticed that busy season is changing into a marathon, not a sprint? I’m working close to 60 billable hours/week year round, and 70+ Feb - April. Is this a bigger trend?
Will be promoted to manager effective 10/1. If round 1 apps are due in September for certain schools should I wait until round two when my title has taken effect? Or apply round 1 noting the promotion is official just not yet effective?
My L1B visa is valid till Oct 2021. My company inititated for L1B extension but received an RFE. Will travelling outside of the US for a week affect my RFE processing?
shooting a series of videos for a spirits client, with creative centered around “talking head interviews” and mixologists creating a few cocktails. Will be internal sales team-facing as opposed to consumer/brand creative. wondering if anyone has recommendations for a solid production partner in the NYC/Brooklyn area for the shoot (and potentially edit) that could keep a 2-day shoot somewhere in the $40k range? I know, that number pains me as well...
Since Covid happened, I keep seeing posts about people working longer hours from home than at office. Well has anyone actually achieved the opposite, which is working less hours? You save time on commuting, meaningless meetings, coffee breaks, random questions from coworkers, etc. This question doesn’t apply to parents with young kids.
After your DEI training what are the other things have you done to fill in the gaps? More training ? A speaker?
Does anyone have suggestions for virtual happy hour games/activities? What has your team been doing, and what has worked best and gotten the most people engaged in participating?
For those of you who attended a FT MBA program, what did you do when you were not in the classroom? Besides traveling, partying, studying/homework, interviewing, etc. Were you often attending events to network, getting lunch with faculty, enjoying a hobby, something else? Thanks! *Repost*

Google Classroom and Zoom was on the fritz all morning. Lord, I have never worked so fast at multitasking of talking to a few students on Zoom, the rest of the students through Go Guardian, texting parents through ClassDojo, and calling parents. I was only able to teach math and science 🤣
