Strongly prefer working in-person (I’m a people person) but potentially have a great too-good-to-turn-down opportunity that would be fully remote. Advice on how to make WFH better?

A dedicated Separate space, which I didn’t have, so I turned my walking closet into one and I am more productive than ever!! :)

I would LOVE a walking closet. That would really come in handy when I regret my outfit choice after I’ve left home.

Dedicated space. Really invest in it - the right desk, good chair, presentable room behind you for camera time, artwork, etc. Routine is a must even if it's not required - wake up, shower, don't wear sweatpants, make a point to get outside for a few, have a normal lunch when possible, etc.

If it’s too good to turn down opportunity, go for it. If you hate the remote set up, just leverage that exp for something better in 2 years.

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.

Anyone just getting tired of their partner on a whole new level with WFH? I feel like we are getting into spats more, I'm getting more resentful of the lack of even workloads/effort, and to top it all off these tensions are literally invading my personal space! Not looking for advice really. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling partner fatigue more now than the Before Times.

3 months into WFH and I (and my admin) are all of the sudden making mistakes like never before. Nothing minor, but definitely not on our usual game. I think it is due to the lack of ability to talk with partners and staff in person and sync up. Anyone else experiencing this?

It appears the starting salary/draw is a bit varied even with in the big-4 but it is my understanding overtime (3-5 years), most of them average out dont know about mid tear. is midtier better as they less overhead and more marketshare to grow? or even within big-4 is there one firm much better than the other comp & retirement wise
