Struck out at McKinsey final round. Had been prepping for over a month, so was quite bummed. I was nervous in the moment, and I forgot to ask for feedback. Is it cool if I reach out via email to the recruiter and ask for it? Thanks

Usually the recruiter does call you to give feedback.

I prepared for 8 months. A lot of people do over 100 case studies to prepare

Not saying it is. But I think a lot of people do this.

Was your final round this past Friday? Mind if I ask when you heard back? I’m still waiting

Don’t let the L bum you out OP. You got further than 90%+ of the applications vying for the same position, you should be proud of your achievement. That said, take this time to reflect on your strengths and weaknesses, incorporate the feedback you obtain, and really bring up your confidence by getting additional practice / live reps in and plan to reapply. Good luck.

Yes, it is cool. Recruiters typically do give feedback - and even if it didn’t happen, you don’t lose anything by asking.

Does anyone make employees submit their formal complaints via written/email? I’m tired of these “I want to complain and I want you do something, but don’t tell anyone” requests.
