Considering a Comp and Benefits Mgr role at a non-profit. I'd be losing about $6K in salary (currently corporate finance) and would be in the office 2-3 days a week (currently 100% remote). Those are the only two downsides I'm facing. If this were you, what levers would you consider negotiating to make up for the salary gap and 1 hour commute each way?

I’m annoyed. I work directly with executives in a variety of capacities and regularly have to push back on them when they step outside of our normal practices on the people side. When that happens, I usually let my boss know on the side so they are informed and am often told “you’re doing the right thing, handling this well.” However, if the fight is brought directly to my boss on the same issue, they more often than not cave and support the exec. Now the problem is they released offer for 11thJuly saying will preponed in case bgv finished early.
Today I again got a mail for 18th july extension.

Few months ago I finally found a courage to changed my “about me” section so it would reflect who I am and my culture. I thought diverse talent are appreciated more these days. Unfortunately according to my google analytic, the first click was on “about me” section, then exit. Not even a single click on anything else. I had a lot more traffic on most of my projects when I had ambiguous genaric one. I guess diversity is not as cool as it is being portrayed for hiring. Back to being generic! 🙁
