Struggling. Took a role at my dream company and I’m so thrilled to be there. I did, however, take an available role to get in the door: a significant step down from my experience/expertise. Leadership acknowledge this and are strongly committed to catching me up with the complex product and industry (a full shift from my prior work). Im in my head that as a young female executive on a rapid successful track, that I’ve derailed myself, so I continue to fixate on all the negative. Anyone else?

I’ve definitely focused on the negative a bit too much too. Thing I try to remind myself is the industry that I’m in now is one I’ve loved since childhood and If 12 year old me saw some of what I do now, he’d be absolutely eccstatic

I did a similar thing... took the job just to get in to the company. Thinking about a role that includes leadership everyday.

Hello folks!

Need some suggestion. Have received a job offer from Hellofresh in a product management role. 100k euros per annum (base) + 20k euros per annum recurring equity (with linear vesting).
Is this a good enough offer for Berlin location? Appreciate some perspectives here.

Hello Everyone !

I am currently a Military Admissions Officer & I want to pivot into something else. I’ve been looking into customer success specialist/manager, entry level Human Resources (I have my graduate certificate in HR), business analyst, system administrator (working on getting my ServiceNow system admin cert) or university relations.

I can send someone my resume for advice or if they know of any opportunities out there.

Sincerely,

Ready for change 😭

I’m applying to an internal position in a different field. I have some respect in this field at the company even though it’s not my dedicated role currently. current and applying roles are both non-tech. The new field isn’t an issue IMO, but it’s 3 grades above where I currently am. My skills are very transferable, and I have good rapport with the leader I’m applying to work under—who directly sent the job posting my way. How can I prove I’m able to perform at the level of this job?
