Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

Hey, if you need someone to talk to, your fishbowl community is here for you… I joined this forum because of the issues I have battled in the past and the issues I am currently battling now.
I seriously mean this, shoot: let me create a burner email for you to message me on - I’ll post on here with it in a moment.
I’m 8 years clean, in AA, and happy to guide you. Call or text me…847-722-3091.
Hello friend. Just started my journey. In Feb. I moved to a rural part of the midwest. Started looking for AA mtgs a couple of weeks ago. It took some effort to figure out and track down the regional/county level website, where I found a PDF of meetings. At my first meeting, many people told me about smaller home group/discussion group mtgs taking place, most of which arent on the website or the AA meeting finder app (if you havent tried the app, try that as well). I hear you on the in person thing. Im a remote worker on zoom and Team mtgs all day, and being in person feels better. But virtual connections are better then none, and as I said, the mtgs/grps may be more than you know of right now. If you have a sponsor, ask them as well. Good luck and keep at it, you can do this.
Same! If you need to talk DM me I’m here!!
Here's the link to all AA meetings worldwide. Many ask for new joiners to put in the chat if they are looking for a sponsor! Jump in!

Good points Dentsu. I’m also in AA. I highly dislike the idea of attending unlisted meetings, however. Typically the traditions and concepts aren’t followed, and no money is given to the central office. AA is supposed to be there for anyone and everyone, whenever the person is in need.
Please urge whoever chairs these meetings to get them registered.
"Average AA access" tells me that there's at least one meeting to go to. Stop having expectations as to what this journey is going to look like, and go to that meeting or handful of meetings as often as you can, and meet the group where they are individually. If after time you can't connect with anyone the issue is you, not the group. Open up to your truth, your an alcoholic, talk to anyone who will listen about what you are thinking. I wholeheartedly agree that Zoom is not the future of AA, this pandemic has killed way to many alcoholics, plug in where you are at and let God do the rest.
I went to one single home group for the first 3 years of my sobriety, and got to know a varied group of alcoholics, many of whom I wouldn't choose to know otherwise. We are all in the same "small" life raft, get in and pick up a paddle.
