hey folks, I am going to join Oracle ossi in Hyderabad location. I have never been to Hyderabad, and will be relocating. Please guide on what would be good areas to look for rent. Also, what would be rent like for 2/3 bhk. Ideally my budget for rent would be <25k. Initially I will be going but in future my family will join me once I am settled. Any points to note or any other gotcha to keep in mind ? Please suggest.
How much of a raise are you getting for 2023?

Wanted to share smth I found recently. I felt like it was pretty darn accurate. I’ll provide the link here but there’s a screenshot I took that I feel I can relate to quite heavily. https://pairedlife.com/love/infatuations
I’ve struggled with so many heavy infatuations before and a friend recommended this. Hope it helps anyone else out there who’s gone through this or may be going through this right now.

I have an open offer too at 2.735%, and I think I’m just going to lock it in. It’s such a low rate to lock in for 10 years that an extra 2-6 months of nonpayments, at the risk of an extra half a point or more interest, just doesn’t compute for me. I’m keeping 10% of my student loans with the feds for now though, just in case there is some small forgiveness
Oh that’s a solid idea.
Following with interest. I have an application to refinance that is currently open.
I’m considering waiting until end of January or mid-February to start another application. This would buy a little time (45 days or so) to see how interest rates are faring, watch for any possibility of extension on repayment, or scope out potential forgiveness.
Some places may offer to lock in your rate until at least the current end of the repayment pause. I know SoFi was doing that earlier
I asked, they flat out said they’re not doing that again because now rates are rising
Depends - can you make more money now in the markets by investing the money then you’ll spend on interest after the rate hike?
Following. In the same boat. I feel like I’m playing chicken with the loan refi people. I have a 2.7% rate offer that expires 1/15. I feel like a dope for holding out that Biden’s going to forgive 20-40k of loans with an EO. It’s not even close to all of my loans but it’s not nothing.
