Stupid Q, but do you break down your recyclable boxes, or do you just leave them in the trash room (organized obviously)? I live in a luxury building so wonder if it’s expected to break down or if I have some wiggle room here?

My building wants all of tenants to flatten it before leaving it in trash room and there are some outliers who don’t - btw that’s a 5 min of work what’s stopping you from doing that?

like

I flatten them yes

like

I don’t. That’s what you pay for!

That being said if everyone in your building is flattening then you don’t want to be that person that doesn’t.

like

I leave them as is. Everyone else in my building does too. The staff is not shy about issuing rules, so if they wanted boxes broken down they would say so.

like

Mostly no, although I know I should. However, we have a large trash room, that is cleaned regularly and we always leave things neatly. And if it’s multiple boxes I put them in order inside the largest one. breaking up boxes here and there for it to fit.

Lol my super wants me to cut down large boxes in addition to flattening them. Needless to say F that.

Yes, it takes two seconds and it’s easier to carry them flat too

Yup flatten them before putting it in the trash room, doesn’t take long at all and the trash room is tiny

It should say it in your building rules. Some make you flatten

My building says I'm supposed to flatten them but I refuse. I live in a full service bldg. If I'm paying for full service... I want full service.

Hello Fishes,
My wife worked in a pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as a QA Officer. Due to maternity complication she took approx. 2 years gap for her career. Meanwhile she learned few courses like PV, CDM, Clinical Research.
Here my question, now she want to start her career again with her new skills in CDM, PV.
1. Which one will have growth CDM or PV?
2. Does they consider earlier experience because she had a gap.?

Waiting for few suggestions and if any reference 😊

I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

Hey 🐠 fam

I'm creating a NYC female friends group to do themed activities (e.g., day hikes, salon talks over wine on specific topics, group dance glasses) together in small group settings (<8 ppl at a time) .

The intent is to create better connections rather than doing run-of-the-mill brunches or happy hours.

If interested, please sign up here (10 questions) and feel free to forward to your friends too.
