I've struggled with excess for as long as alcohol has been a part of my life. I'm at a low point after having too much on Sunday, being unproductive on Monday, and barely sleeping. It's this moment that makes me want to finally change. But I know when I'm feeling better, I'll think I can do this all again and next time it'll be fine. I've read tips here for being better and will try my hardest. Tia for listening.

Hi fishes, a little different question posted here - I am considering moving to London on a job offer. Strange, it may sound but I don’t drink alcohol. Any suggestions for self help books on anxiety? Been dealing with anxiety for quite some time now and have been seeing a therapist but also just want to see what other resources are out there.

How do you approach the initial conversation with your doctor? I have taken a variety of both anti anxiety and anti depressants. Nothing works. I had hernia surgery recently. Doc suggested that I should wear a jock strap for a few weeks. Haven't worn one since high school. O M G, I can't believe I've been missing out on all this support.
