How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

The new company upon joining thier company will create your new EPF number, and the same will reflect in Govt site for which Date Of Exit (DOE) will show as Not available ,but for last company the DOE will be your date of exit...when Does this DOE for last company is visible in Govt aite after leaving the organisation ?

Currently SM. Advice I got early on, that I pass on to all the new FDD hires I work with —
The biggest differentiator at the associate level is your speed and accuracy in excel. Really commit to learning the hotkeys, the formulas, formatting things nicely and consistently, etc.
An associate who takes 2 hours to put together a great schedule, and then takes another hour to look at it and pull out some insights and good questions, beats out the associate who takes 4 hours just to put together the same schedule. Your learning curve will just grow exponentially from there as you get staffed on more deals and do more analysis than your peers in the same 8 (or 10.. or 12..) hour workday
I mean sort of? The best way to become a faster runner is by running more!
