Hi Friend, Could you please let me know about vacancies for Consultant or Senior Consultant position in a Management Consulting firm? I have 2.5 YOE post MBA in Power and Utilities in a Big 4 company. Thanks for your time.
In the final round of interview with a San Fran startup that’s about to go IPO... but I know I’d be also giving up lots of the structures & project flexibility & diversity offered here at big 4. What rationale would you use to make a decision?
It’s well known that the difference in work culture in Europe vs US is quite different. Can you comment on some of the differences when it comes to work/life balance, competitiveness, client dynamics
Any thoughts on Bartle Bogle Hegarty? How’s the culture, environment, work life balance?
Can anyone at D confirm or deny? Is this group specific? Hoping this kicks it off B4 wide.
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
Anyone at PWC right now? What’s the company like? Psycho hours? Using modern tech (slack, google sheets, lucidchart, github, etc)? Flexible for Mac/Linux? Bunch of ego maniac micro managers? I am considering an opp there, but had bad exp at KPMG, so I am cautious about going back to a b4.
Considering an offer from Proskauer in its L&E department. Anything I should be aware of before accepting? Poor culture, any hostile or particularly unfriendly and demanding partners? From my research everything seems on the up and up. Any insight is appreciated.

Anyone else here that doesn't drink? Sometimes find it hard to get to know other coworkers when so much of office culture (at least at the analyst / associate level) revolves around drinking.
My husband and I were watching the LuLaRich documentary and he pointed out the the big 4 firms are very similar to MLM pyramid schemes. 😆🤔🧐
Accepted to a cornell EMBA that starts in the NYC area in June. Just joined a big 4 in TAS - does anyone have any advice or thoughts on a) is this feasible schedule wise b) is this worth it? Thanks
Does anyone have a work culture that prioritizes WLB? Sometimes I feel like it's all talk for branding.
Associate. 80k. Looking to make a move potentially to a boutique firm that'll pay at least 5-10k less if I were to guess. But the culture and work seem amazing. Thoughts?
I am in sixth year at a top firm in Toronto. I’m considering lateraling to another firm that does very similar work to what I’m currently doing, essentially because I strongly dislike the culture at my current firm. If you have lateraled for a culture-related issue, what do you wish you had asked before signing? Do you think there is a way to truly suss out culture before working somewhere? I have several law school classmates at this new firm so will obv ask them.
Anyone have experience starting a new job for a week then leaving because you got a better offer (as in, was interviewing with both places at the same time, but one moved slower). Any huge red flags or issues?
PwC moms - I am a FTM due on May. I have been with pwc for 6 years now. I want to maximize my STD and maternity leave. How much am I eligible for and how to get the maximum benefit?
I assert myself and take on a a team lead role but may be stepping on toes. I feel like that’s my natural personality so it’s authentic. Should I give a s**t about what others think? Or do my thing?
B4 or T2 consultants that got into H/S, what part of your application do you think really set you apart?
When does the CSP 80k SOB promotion end?
Want to buy property in / near NYC. I know with covid prices in the city (I’m assuming the 5 boroughs) went down, while prices outside of the city went up. Is that enough of a move in the market to make it worth it to buy in the city (and not in Long Island for example)?
I know not everyone has the support of their parents like they'd want. My daughter came to me recently to tell me in tears that she wanted to be a tattoo artist because in the back of her head she thought I would be disappointed. She was wrong. She's following her heart to happiness and that is all a parent can hope for. So, if you haven't heard this from your parent and desperately want to... then listen...
Carreer in strategic consulting: Bain or EY-Parthenon for an Associate Consultant starting a carreer in management consulting this year. In terms of progression, salary, types of projects and recognition
Hi all, 3 years into MBB and job was taking the toll on me, and we were unable to get pregnant. I forced myself into an internal role to get some breathing space and therapy, and we ended up getting pregnant. But a few months in, I moved back to client facing and it has been absolutely difficult to spend time at home and keep my wife happy. She is expecting some quality time every day for a few hours, and I am just unable to do that. Its probably a combination of the job and also how I
Hi all! Does anyone have any advice/resources on how to prep for business intelligence roles interviews? For example, data analytics/viz quesions (not necessarily coding on spot but explain how I would approach a data related request). So far I have been answering based on my work experience, but want to do a more systematic prep if possible
Deloitte 🐠 had my first round interview with the recruiter about a week back. She said she will get back to me with 2 days. Should I follow up now or it’s too soon.
LA agency hiring an Account Director. Perfect for someone on the more “junior” AD side, or perhaps an experienced Management Supervisor who’s ready to make the jump to AD. Pls send LinkedIn profile!
So umm whose’s going to tell him? Also not surprised over half the people in this pic have caught COVID.
Are there any practice tests available for the Databricks Spark cert that people would recommend? I’m looking for something similar to Whiz Labs as I find that the most helpful for studying.
Super bummed - took my health seriously this year, lost 40 pounds, found my love for running again, and was preparing to post a PR marathon in a couple weeks. My first day of tapering and I suffered a grade 3 ankle sprain. Now that my sob story is over - how do I stay healthy and relatively fit while being immobile for a bit? Do I just really need to focus on diet? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
