Thoughts and/or recommendations on career coaches? Im feeling like I need some help narrowing down what direction I should focus on with my career.

Looking at potentially accepting a Sr. Consultant role with EY. I live about 2 hours away from the nearest office and was told I wouldn't be expected to go to the office full-time, but wanted to ask any other EY folks if that would be the case.

I have a concern that I would accept the role, and after a few months, be required to either commute or relocate closer to the office. Bonus point: I don't own a car, and don't plan to get one.

Can somebody resign during maternity break to join a new job? Or is it mandatory to join back, serve 2 weeks of notice then resign? Is that doable in Ontario? I do not want to check this with my HR. I work in wipro Canada currently

Good books/resources on playing corporate politics? I feel naive when it comes to this stuff coming from a working class background where this doesn’t exist.

I make ~150K & get 8K per month net.

Assuming I have 3K rent + 1K for (car + insurance) + 1K for (grocery + utilities + misc expenses), I’m left with 3K/month saving which is 36K/yr.

If I decide to buy a 1M house/townhouse/apartment, I’ll need to put down 200K deposit which will take ~5-6 years - IS THIS NORMAL?
