Blue suit, brown shoes. Make sure both fit. Noone cares about the brand. As long as you don't buy it off Amazon and it's crazy cheap looking, you'll be good.

like

Make sure belt is brown too, not black. You gotta match the belt to the shoes!

Assuming your industry execs aren’t in show business, I’d recommend Allen Edmond cap toes and a charcoal suit supply suit. Good luck

Allen Edmonds for shoes. Make the investment. Also get polish kit and shoe trees. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

Would you go on an international vacation shortly after a frozen embryo transfer (5-10 days after)? It is looking like my first transfer opportunity will be shortly before a trip I already have planned. I’d rather not wait, and the one time I have been pregnant before I implanted on a international vacation but I don’t know if this is a stupid thing to do? I have a very stressful job so maybe it would be good to be away from work?? Curious what others think.

When you don’t have any work despite asking for additional work numerous times from multiple people, at what point do you: 1) continue to ask them for work, or 2) try making up work on your own (by looking at the shared firm calendar and seeing what deadlines are coming up and what items are needed) - a 3 month baby associate

I’m at the point that I start trembling every time I get an email alert. It’s the little things piling up that is getting to me. The to do list full of, “send emails to X about Y,” “follow-up re this,” “revise the 100 small things the baby lawyer drafted.” Tasks that might take 15 minutes to an hour individually, but all together it’s a lot. I’m the bottle neck. I’m the one who needs to move these things along. But there’s always something bigger and more urgent. Nothing’s ever FINISHED.

I live in a small studio apartment and my mother is visiting for just over a week from abroad. Any ideas on how I can make the space issue work and somehow keep her entertained?

Just had my second MC. Back to back. I waited a full year for my body to recover and be in optimal shape. My bloodwork was perfect. I did all testing with a fertility doctor. Everything was good. I got pregnant easily.. yet, I lost the baby at 6w5D. Last year I lost the baby at 8w5D. I feel so defeated. My heart can’t take more losses anymore. My first pregnancy was a breeze.. 2nd and 3rd.. ended in tears and sadness.

Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. Especially now mask mandates are being lifted feeling like we can’t go anywhere without risking our kid.

With social security potentially running out, why couldn’t it be an option for the govt to put $5k for every baby that is born in a year into an account Invested in a govt share class S&P 500 fund. Historical average is 10%+, which would provide roughly $2.7 million for a baby born today. Eventually, this would eliminate the need for soc sec tax, and would only cost $18 Billion a year instead of several trillion a year being deposited into the trust.

We have had incompatibility even before marriage on various issues but it was an arranged marriage, we tried to work it out and stay together. Her side is asking her to move on. She has taken my kids passport and kept it with her. What are the options I have to defend myself?
