Love it at AP. Paid a lot more for the same job I did at another company. Culture is self driven. No up or out so you can stay where you are comfortable. Very much growing as a premium eDiscovery vendor. Looking to hire PMs in Dallas, Chicago, DC, and NY.

I would agree that the opportunity for personal growth is minimal, based on the nature of the work. However, the team culture from where I’m at is phenomenal, but i wouldn’t say that’s practice-wide. That definitely comes directly from having a partner and SMs who get it.

EY Culture: very office dependent, still old school and a boys club in a lot of places Growing: yes in insurance claims, personally no, our leadership spends no time investing in their people IMO Leadership: also very office dependent...competency is low in my area for sure Happy: No but happy to have a job right now so whatever

Similar thing I found at PwC. Have found the teams with the best and worst work/life balance within the firm all within forensics. Also very office and service offering dependent

I feel like our staff and seniors are babysitter and we are not getting enough out of them for what we pay and the caliber of people we hire. Compensation should range more from performer group to ensure other people are pulling their weight. What are your thoughts on compensation?

I agree with your feelings at EY. When I was at EY I was frustrated that I got a 3 after all the effort I put in (extra hours every evening, doing business development stuff, etc). Then the guy next to me never took his computer home once and got the same rating. So why would I do all the extra work to get paid the same? Honestly it’s one of the big reasons I left. I killed myself doing a ton of extra work on year and should have gotten a 5, but because they have quota limits, they pushed me down to a 3. Luckily I was also interviewing to leave at that same time.
