Thoughts on Director of Software Engineering at a small firm $165k base + 10% annual bonus. No stock options, no RRSP match. YOE 12, experience in current role 3 yrs.
Current compensation $140k, no stock options or RRSP match, but love the organization.

Hello! I’m an LMSW in Michigan with 15 years experience in the field doing case management, supervision, and administrative roles. All of my experience has happened in the CMH or VA health system, so needless to say, I am feeling burned out. I have flirted many times with private practice therapy work, but never taken the plunge due to concern about healthcare benefits from my spouse. Is it worth it to make the change? Are we overthinking it?

I’m a new CSM (9 months) and I work at a company that doesn’t invest much in its CSM team. I’ve been struggling because as time goes on I feel more and more like a token hire. We have no play book/structure, no CSM tool and I’m current organizing all 95 of my clients on spreadsheets while also handling presales trials with a salary under 50k.

Long story short: I’m searching for mentorship or to be pointed in the direction of a good course so I can help the clients I do have while I’m here

What's the most effective way for a small RIA to recruit FAs who have a few years experience, want to break away from large/corporate firms? I'm a $70M fee-only (commissions for insurance) independent RIA with a generous comp schedule that enables FAs to own their own book while they grow. As the owner, my focus is to help FAs succeed; as a firm, our focus is on client service and helping them succeed. I can afford a small salary, but not benefits. I'm especially interested in female FAs.
