Chicago 🐡, does anyone use Delta as their main airline? I’ve been building United status, but I flex travel a lot to Delta hubs and Delta planes tend to be a lot nicer... any thoughts?
Had a mild heart attack according to my cardiologist. He says its due to stress, travel and poor diet. Advised me to get out of consulting. I need to still support my family and pay bills but most of all need to get out of strenuous SAP. Looking for serious advice here. If I get out of logistics and supply chain, can I still have a career? Is taking a desk job in SAP security a good move? May have to retool myself which I am happy to. Just need a steady income from a 9-5. I’ve known only SAP
Currently hungover on my flight in a middle seat next to a crying baby. Clearly I'm paying for my sins from this weekend 🤔
How do you all feel about team members (particularly analysts) who have scheduling/travel restrictions because they have a dog?
Relocating from the U.S. back to Europe, where I’m from. Nervous about 7 hours on the plane. Anyone flown transatlantic since this started? How was it? Any tips for protection? Considering a layover in Reykjavik to break it up, and because I think I’d have less anxiety on a shorter flight, but wonder if I might be safer flying direct. I’m an anxious and claustrophobic flyer anyway so appreciate any tips of words of encouragement!
I know consulting is one of the least environment-friendly things to be doing with all the travel, etc. But are there things you do to try to decrease your footprint?
Anyone had a milestone birthday during lockdown? How did you celebrate? I’m turning 30 soon, had planned to do a small photo shoot, buy something designer & travel internationally. 🙃 Plz help 😅!
Cute hotel receptionist girl has been pretty flirty, like when handing me something she’d also place her other hand onto my hand/arm and linger, flirty eyes, and might’ve slipped in a “babe” last cont
My dad, who doesn't really travel, is retired, and doesn't even know how to text or look things up on his phone, bought me a Davis & Towne suitcase via a brochure (! 😂). Very thankful because he...
Chicago consulting ppl - how much do you pay for the rent ? Sometimes I feel its not worth to pay the high rents when you are going to stay for only 10-12 days in a month because of travel.

S&O M with an offer for SM at competitor for 25% more base and large sign on. Worth having a comp conversation with D? I’m slightly left of middle of the MBA M band. New offer is at market for SM1.
I have a question. Have any special teachers experience this? The teacher I work with in the Developmental classroom has 1-2 students a day and some on virtual teaching at the same time. One mother that is online continually vacuums and/or has a noisy smaller child constantly screaming near our student on the computer. Any suggestions on a polite way to please keep quiet so we can focus in the classroom because we hear and so her child can alo focus on work? This is nerve wracking.
Is it worth applying for MBB lateral currently? I have a good resume and think I can get solid referrals...but not sure if it’s even worth it given COVID?
Had any one left Big 4 to do IT audit contract work? Interested to here how your experience was and any pros vs. cons.
Do women who can’t get pregnant naturally (not talking adoption, but would need IVF/surrogate) ever just feel like they weren’t “meant” to have children? Like maybe this just wasn’t the universe’s plan for me?
Does anyone know how Facebook evaluates you for a position, specifically for an onsite interview? Anyone gone through the process with them before?
Is it just me or are agencies loading up on commitment-free permalancers rather than hiring permanent staff? Is this a cost-saving measure, or things are even more project-based than they appear?
If you took extra time off when you had a baby, how long did you take off total? How was the transition back to work? I’m at the end of mat leave, but my son is having health challenges (cont)
EY 🐠, what’s your Federal sector like? Project types? Pay for SC level? I’ve been approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn and while I am not actively looking, I’m never closed to other opportunities.
I got my H1B a year ago and transfer out of the US now. Is it possible to reactivate my H1B within the 6 yrs it’s valid with a different employer, or am I loosing it all by leaving the US now?

Okay here's the real question - wtf do I do with all my Amtrak points? Can they be transferred? How do I even book train tickets with points?
