I have a contract role at TikTok for a talent sourcer and I’m wondering the same thing! It’s a 1 year contract and hopefully converted to full time based on performance. Good luck!

Good luck to you too! Mine’s also one year. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

My first gig as a long term contractor turned into a full time after 6 months.Best wishes!

Thank you! This is super helpful and I’ll def keep this in mind!

It helps to get your foot in the door. You need to do the rest. Make sure to hit all your performance goals. Also, congrats!

Haha thanks! I haven’t went through the interview process yet but definitely hoping to get in!

Twilio is growing pretty rapidly so I'm sure they'll be looking to add more FT staff

like

Definitely hoping that this is the case! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Congrats!

Haha thanks! Haven’t got the job yet but will update if I do

In most cases, it's really just a trial run, so as long as you perform well and 'wow' them, chances are they'll ask you to come aboard full time. Good luck!

OP, what happened? Considering a role there as well.

Sorry to hear - but thanks for the info!

Asking for friend living in APAC: They have 2.5 YOE as a Business Analyst post-UG, been unemployed for the last 5 months, and have just been offered two roles. Role 1 is FT for a boutique IT consulting firm. Role 2 is 6 month internship at a large biotech company (Agilent, Thermo Fisher, Roche) as a Business Analyst intern. It seems taking internships after finishing school is normal and not just during summer time for students. Which role would you suggest they take?
